Mayor-President Melvin L. “Kip” Holden and his wife Lois will lead the annual Mayor’s Family Bike Ride on Saturday, April 13th starting in the B'nai Israel Parking Lot, 3354 Kleinert Avenue from 9 a.m. 'til 11:30 a.m. The ride is held each year, as part of the Mayor’s Healthy City Initiative. This year’s ride will connect the Bike Day festivities to Better Block BR, which will be happening on Government Street that same weekend. We will return to B’Nai Israel at the end of the ride Bike Day events and information.

HealthyBR Partners will provide information from 9 a.m. until 11:30 a.m.

Bike Day is FREE and we encourage everyone to attend and enjoy this heart-healthy event.


The Mayor’s Healthy City Initiative identifies and coordinates efforts aimed at healthy eating and an active lifestyle into a unifying community commitment to better health.
