What is the Annual CAN DO Neighborhood Convention and when is it held?
The Annual CAN DO Neighborhood Convention is a day devoted to helping the citizens of the parish learn how to use their local government. Filled with networking, education, problem solving and fun, the event includes more than 70 exhibits by non-profits and City Departments, workshops, the Good Neighbor Awards, which are given to exemplary citizens, and more. Breakfast and lunch are included, as are lots of free information and give-aways.
The Convention is generally held the first Saturday in April from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Riverside Centroplex in downtown Baton Rouge.
