NEW SATURDAY PET ADOPTION

Starting in January 2007, the East Baton Rouge Parish Animal Control Center will open for pet adoptions only, on the first and last Saturdays of each month. The Animal Control Center is located at 2680 Progress Road, near the Baton Rouge Metro Airport. Adoption hours will be from 9:00am – 1:00p.m. The Animal Control Center will also perform mid-month Saturday remote adoptions, using the mobile adoption trailer. Mobile pet adoption sites to be announced soon.
