| Capitol Park Community Development Corporation (CPCDC) was founded in 1994 as part of the Local Initiatives Support Corporation Development Team effort. In February of 1997, CPCDC moved into its office located in the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Center located at 4000 Gus Young Avenue. Capitol Park CDC completed 31 units of single family residences (among the first of its kind) located at North 23rd Street and Fuqua.
Capitol Park CDC desires to create a strong sense of community, enhance area value, and reinforce economic stability by providing quality housing for low to moderate income residents. CPCDC offers affordable housing to renters and first time home buyers through the acquisition and rehabilitation of blighted domiciles and the construction of new homes and complexes.
