St. George Station 68 Dedication Ceremonies

Station 68 was formally dedicated on Saturday, February 12th. The ceremonies included remarks by Fire Chief Jerry Tarleton, Mayor-President "Kip" Holden, Metro Council Member Pat Culbertson, State Representative Carl Crane, and State Senator Jay Dardenne. The Benediction was observed by St. George Fire Department Chaplain, the Reverend Deborah Drash.

Station 68 is the seventh full-time staffed fire station operated by the St. George Fire Department.  It is located at 326 Highlandia Drive.  This station will result in drastically reduced response time along the Highland and lower Perkins Road corridors.
