|Under the close supervision of a Center Supervisor performs responsible work in assisting the supervision of preschool aged children. Work involves assisting a Teacher and Bus Driver in conducting daily transportation of preschool aged children. Performs other work as requested.
Note: Most employees within this classification are paid hourly rate and work ten (10) months or less a year. |
|ESSENTIAL WORK TASKS|
|Assists in preparing transportation activities.
Supervise children on buses and assists them in crossing streets; supervises children to ensure safety and security of the child.
Prepares the physical environment for transportation activities.|

|Ability to highly be motivated, be enthusiastic, and be a responsible individual with strong leadership skills.
Ability to be flexible while working in a diverse community-based program with families.
Ability to follow simple oral and written instructions.

|EDUCATIONAL AND EXPERIENCE|
|High school diploma, GED, or equivalent certificate of competency and experience in supervising children's activities.|
|Any equivalent combination of education and experience.|
|Must have Valid First Aid (Standard) and CPR (infant and child) certificates.|
