Fire and EMS Station #3 is located at 3142 Evangeline Street.

Our newest reconstructed Fire and EMS Station #3 is located at 3142 Evangeline Street. The original firehouse was built in 1950 and the newly reconstructed station is on the same spot.

Baton Rouge Fire Department, along with EMS held a Dedication Service on February 8th, 2006. Mayor-President Kip Holden, Councilman Charles Kelly and Councilwoman Lori Burgess attended the event and spoke, as well as, our very on Fire Chief Ed Smith and Tommy Loyconno of EMS.

The fire house will house one 1500 GPM (gallons per minute) Pumper and a 100 ft. Aerial Ladder, a crew of approx 9 to 10 firefighters will be on duty at the station 24/7. EMS will also operate a emergency response truck out of the station.
