A Message from Councilman Greco....
How exciting to serve on the Metro-Council in such a vibrant growing community such as Baton Rouge and be an integral part of the changes set forth by our mayor, city planners, Metro-Council, and experience improvements that
will boldly thrust us into the 21st century! At last our infrastructure is being addressed; our schools and teachers are at the forefront for our consideration and we continue to experience tremendous growth in commercial and
residential construction. Our police department rates in the top ten percent in the nation and continues to improve. Baton Rouge boasts the number one Fire Department and EMS (Emergency Medical Services) rating in the United
States.
Prospects downtown are brighter than ever before with our state government committing to build new office buildings in the downtown area, growth of the Centroplex, expansion and use of the Riverwalk.
The citizens of Baton Rouge are the greatest people on earth and deserve the very best services that government is able to deliver. No governing body is perfect and participation from our citizens is encouraged.
We must communicate with one another, work in harmony and continue to create a city in which we proudly work, raise our families, work in a peaceful coexistence and proudly call Baton Rouge our home.
