CCS – Joseph Homes is a transitional facility that open in
November of 1991. It operates as a shelter for homeless, male ex-offenders. The
average length of stay at the Joseph Homes is 3 months while funding from the
Emergency Shelter Grants Program provides unique services such as case
management, mental and medical health counseling, employment referrals,
transportation and financial assistance, educational programs, and obtaining
proper identification and permanent housing in addition to supplying the basic
needs like food, clothing and temporary shelter. Joseph Homes aim is to
reintegrate ex-offenders into their prospective community, and reopen their
opportunities to become contributing members of society.
