| Training Division |
| The EMS Training
Division consists of a Director and an Assistant Training Director. They direct the
actions of the designated Field Training Officers (Unit Commanders) in the orientation,
evaluation , training and precept of students and employees. The Training Division
provides instruction of ACLS, ATLS, and PHTLS with the local medical community. This
Division also provides two refresher courses for each level annually, as well as monthly
continuing education. All requirements of the National registry re-certification program
are met and exceeded in-house each year. EMS is a designated Field Internship location for
several training facilities accross the country including the University of Oregon and the
University of Mississippi.
